REFUND POLICY

This Refund Policy ("Policy") explains how Business Rate, LLC ("we," "us," or "our") handles refunds, returns, and cancellations for customized physical and digital award products (the "Products"). By purchasing any Products from us, you agree to this Policy, along with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

1. Products Covered

Customized Physical Awards: Examples include trophies, plaques, or similar items featuring personalized text, logos, or designs.

Customized Digital Awards: These are electronically delivered items, such as digital awards or badges, which include custom text or design elements.

2. Order Confirmation & Production Timeline

Order Confirmation

After placing your order and completing payment, you'll see an on-screen confirmation.

An email confirmation is also sent to the email address you provided during checkout (via our Resend API).

If you do not receive the email confirmation, check your spam/junk folder or contact support@businessrate.com.

Production Phase

Physical Products: Production usually begins within two (2) business days of purchase. Our facility may hold an order up to two (2) business days before starting production, allowing time for last-minute changes or confirmations.

Digital Products: Custom text or design work typically begins as soon as we receive your order details and proceeds within the same two (2) business days timeframe.

3. Cancellations & Changes

Before Production Starts

To request a cancellation or order change, email support@businessrate.com within 48 hours or 2 business days of purchase.

If production has not started, we'll make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request. You may be eligible for a full or partial refund depending on any design labor or material costs already incurred.

After Production Starts

Physical Products: Once we have begun creating your custom item, it might be too late to cancel or change without incurring fees. In most cases, no refunds will be granted unless required by law.

Digital Products: If design work is underway or the final digital file has been issued via a hosted link, refunds generally will not be available, except as required by law or noted in this Policy.

4. Refunds for Customized Physical Products

Eligibility

Because these items are made to order, refunds or returns are typically not available once production begins.

A partial refund may be possible if production is still in an early phase. Any costs for design work, materials, or setup fees will be deducted.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that's damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us at support@businessrate.com within 3 days of delivery.

We may request photos or additional details to verify the issue.

If confirmed, we'll replace or reprint the item at no extra cost. If a replacement is not feasible, we may issue a full or partial refund.

Shipping & Handling

Shipping Method: All physical orders ship via UPS Ground. Shipping times can vary by location.

Costs: Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the issue results from our error. If a return shipment is required, we'll provide instructions. You are responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise stated.

5. Refunds for Customized Digital Products

Electronic Delivery

Digital orders are processed through our Resend API and delivered to the email address on file. A hosted link typically provides access to your final digital award.

Please check your spam/junk folder or firewalls if you do not receive the email.

Non-Receipt

If you don't receive your digital product due to spam filters or technical errors, contact support@businessrate.com. We'll resend the link at no extra charge.

No Refund Post-Delivery

Once the digital product is delivered or final design is completed, no refunds will be issued unless the delivered product is significantly different from what was agreed upon or if required by applicable law.

We may offer one (1) minor revision (e.g., name spelling correction) within 3 days after delivery. Major design changes may incur additional fees.

6. Processing Refunds

Timeline: Eligible refunds usually process within 7–10 business days after we confirm eligibility. Refunds go to the original payment method used for purchase, though your bank may take additional time to post it.

Partial Refunds: If a partial refund is offered, we'll deduct applicable costs for materials, design labor, or other non-recoverable fees. We'll provide a cost breakdown upon request.

7. Exceptions & Special Considerations

Bulk Orders or Volume Discounts: Orders with special pricing or bulk discounts may have unique terms for refunds. Any pro-rated refunds will be calculated based on standard pricing for the units kept.

Time-Sensitive Events: If your product is tied to an event date, we're not liable for delays caused by shipping carriers, natural disasters, or other events out of our control. We do our best to meet deadlines but cannot guarantee shipping times once the package is with UPS.

Non-Refundable Scenarios: Refund requests deemed fraudulent or abusive may be denied. If you misuse or alter the product (physical or digital) in violation of our Terms of Service, we may refuse refunds.

8. How to Request a Refund or Replacement

Contact: Email support@businessrate.com with:

  • Order Number
  • Reason (include photos for physical goods if damaged or incorrect)
  • Preferred Resolution (replacement, refund, revision, etc.)

Acknowledgment: We aim to respond within 2 business days and guide you through next steps.

9. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update this Policy. If we make significant changes, we'll post a notice on our website or email you before the changes take effect. The Last Updated date at the top reflects the most recent revisions.
